“Azerbaijan has recently offered an initiative regarding swapping hostages and prisoners of war according to “all–for–all” principle”, said Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Leyla Abdullayeva to ONA.

L. Abdullayeva said that Azerbaijan is the party most interested in the conflict’s soonest settlement. 
 
“The statement adopted at the last meeting of foreign ministers in Moscow is also aimed at implementing certain humanitarian measures in the context of conflict resolution. The issue of establishing contacts of captives and hostages with their relatives is also on the agenda. We have always stated our support for these initiatives.”

It should be noted that some days ago the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated that they supported swapping hostages and prisoners of war according to “all-for-all” principle of regarding the conflicts, including Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
